“My dog gets sore front paws when he goes out running with me so I was after something to alleviate this. When I saw these boots I was a bit sceptical but prepared to give them a try, despite my partner telling me not to be so bloomin stupid!
The boots arrived, I put them on him and he danced around like a fruitcake but after a few minutes wasn't bothered by them. I regularly take him running and they stay on OK - although you do have to put them on quite tightly and it's a bit trial and error the first couple of times.
However, they now stay on well and Eric runs like normal in them. I'm not a marathon runner and only go a few miles 3 times a week. Resting Eric never seemed to solve the worn paw problem but since he has had these boots for his front paws he has been fine.
The boots are incredibly well designed and almost look like a pair of Merrells. Yes, people do laugh when they see him out in them but Eric wears them with pride and ignores the comments! He's the best dressed Westie in this village.
The boots do work and both dog and owner couldn't be happier.

“I have an elderly Border Collie (12) who was paralysed as a 6 year old. She regained partial use in her hing legs but now that she is getting older she is struggling with staying on her feet and generally going in a straight line! These boots are absolutely brilliant as they fit well, stay on and would appear to be comfortable as she loves having them on. They definitely support her and give her the confidence to charge about as best she can. If she doesn't wear the boots she is very slow and wobbly and scrapes her feet on the concrete making them very sore. Have deducted just half a mark as keep having to buy more as she wears them out about every 6 months but then she does wear them from the time of getting up to last thing at night!! An excellent product. ”

“I bought these brilliant boots on recommendation from my vet.
Charlie is a 12 month old German Shepherd, who from being around 6months old suffered from some form of allergy and ezcema (althought this wasn't diagonsed until I changed vets!). We found out that he has an allergy to grass pollen (very unfortunate for a dog). He pulled out all the hair between his pads, so as you can imagine, he was not a happy doggy! He is also allergic to air freshners, floor cleaners etc., being picked up by his paws, so my 'new' vet came up with the idea of these boots, so I ordered them, Charlie wore them, and they are actually helping him, thank God.
I would reccommend them to everyone who looks at this site, who's dog may be suffering like Charlie did. They are absolutley great! 'They do exactly what it says on the tin!'
Yes, when he first had them on it was like something from a comedy film, trying to walk as if he had lead weights on, and he only tried to nibble them twice, but we distracted him, and now he is fine with them.
I just wish I had known about them before, then he wouldn't have had to suffer so long.

“Great for hiking. We took our dog on a 2 hour hike and these boots helped him to complete the hike. We know that he would not of completed it without these boots. With the grip trex boots our dog can now run on the beach without hurting his paws on shells and rocks. Love them!!!! ”

“I purchased these boots for my dog 'Tilly' as she has very dry,cracked pads so i needed something to protect them.I orderd them on a 2 day delivery and recieved them in 1.When they arrived i was very pleased with the way they looked and the vibran sole as i work in a shoe shop myself.When i fitted my dog with the boots they fit loverly and stayed secure while she was running.Im so pleased that she can still go out whilst her paws are healing.Excellent product,well worth the money and i would recomend them to everyone!”

“Was really looking forward to getting these boots, my springer spaniel cut her paw and lost her pad 5 weeks ago and it needs time to heal - I thought this would be ideal..
Unfortuantly the boot came off within 5 minutes and was lost - even with the socks.. they were really tight on so it's very dissapointing.

“It's a miracle, my Alsation dog can walk on our granite and wooden floors again!
Zara's 11 years old and her back legs have started to give way. Although she can walk ok on carpets or grassy areas and still has a lot of life and spirit, her back legs slide apart when she walks on shiny surfaces. I decided to look on the internet to see what can be done and that's where I spotted your website advertising dog shoes that grip.
Not once has Zara attempted to get them off or bite them, it's as if she knows they're helping her, she now walks around with pride. I take the shoes off at night so she can spread her paws out and I lay a large rug down for if she does get up and has a little walk round.
They're absolutely great!!! Thank you so much they're worth every penny.

“My Great Dane has Wobblers so not only has he worn his nails and pads to great soreness, he is very unstable especially on tiled floors etc. He has been wearing Grip Trex boots for the last 2yrs with no problems what so ever in all weathers wet dry mud snow. They stay on really well and are obviously comfortable for him, and a wonderful help with his problems. My vet even recommends them now.”

“My 9 year old German Shepherd Sam is suffering from the early signs of CDRM. This causes him to drag his feet behind him wearing his nails away from the top making them bleed and causing him pain. He was also slipping on wet grass, floorboards and tiled floors and his hind legs were often crossing over tripping him up. As soon as his boots arrived he was happy to wear them and has never tried to get them off. He can now walk without pain or trips and is indeed running and chasing his ball again. When they get wet and muddy they are easily rinsed and dry out quickly on the radiator. Some days are better than others but all days are better than they would be without the boots. Thank you.

“Casper is 12 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier ...at 5 years old he was diagnosed by the AHT after an MRI to have a congenital spine problem and given only weeks to live...but he did live.
Now we believe old age is now taking its toll on hips/discs etc and causing one of his back legs to go into spasm... at this stage if he is on anything other than grass he grazes or cuts his feet...his life style was limited to mum or dad carrying him to grass and keeping him on a lead....with his new boots he has his freedom back to potter about his garden without fear of hurting his feet!
Casper litererally took one look at his boots the first time we put them on and then off he trotted...it takes some believing to see the result....thank you so much! we also think that as they are preventing him from slipping the spasms are much less...cant wait to show our vet...

“We recieved our boots yesterday, and we are mightily impressed. I have a male german shepherd he's 4 now. I heard form a few other gsd owners when he was a pup saying that gsd's are notorious for having soft pads and are always getting them cut on rough terrain. This is our first gsd and he has cut his paws 3 times before, however at the weekend we went our normal 1hour trail up the Forrest walk and by the time we came back there was blood everywhere. He had sliced one of his pads completely off. So a trip to the emergency vet and £200 later his paw was bandaged up with an apparant superficial wound, I decided enough is enough and buy the shoes I put off last time as I thought they were expensive.
But if you think about it wouldn't you rather pay £45 for boots for your dogs safety than £200 everytime he/she gets hurt? I know I would!
Kai put them on last night and there was the whole comedy moment of the inital walk but we took our walk this morning and 5 minutes into the walk he was running about like he always does. He loves them and I think he looks handsome in them xx”

“My dog Kula was regularly getting infected paws from different plants and grasses. He was constantly on antibiotics and it got to the point that he didn't want to go for walks anymore as his paws hurt too much when we moved into a complex that has pepplecrete everywhere.
I found these boots online after searching for something that might help him and they have been brilliant! I have never laughed so hard when I first put them on him, but it took literally 10 minutes and he hasn't looked back since.
Kula knows the bag that the boots are stored in and as soon as the bag comes out, he's running for the front door as he knows it's walk time. Everyone we meet comments on his boots and he just loves all the attention as well.
Since getting the boots about 10 months ago, Kula has not had another course of antibiotics which is awesome. We are just about to get him a new pair of boots, as unfortunately he has put holes in the other ones from a combination of overuse (twice a day!) and his long nails, as they don't get to naturally wear down as much now that he's not walking on concrete. But we've decided to go with red this time so now he'll be stylin'!

“My 14-year old dog is now getting weak on his hind legs and a recent op on his foot made me search for a good hardy boot. These have been fantastic. Very durable and with his sock caused no problem for him to wear. They also look cool and have had lots of admiring comments. Make sure you measure correctly though so you get a nice snug fit-too big and they may slip off.”
