The pack's harness should have an all-around snug fit for a stable load and to prevent movement or shifting of the saddlebags.
Be sure each saddlebag has an equal and balanced load. When fitting the Palisades Pack, remove the saddlebags from the harness for easy fitting and adjustment. Then reattach the saddlebags when ready to go.
We are currently sold out of the Medium Palisades in the UK - more stock will be in the first week of Feb 2010. We may also be able to get one dispatched to you from our NZ warehouse. Please contact us for details or to pre-order.

“We bought our palisades pack about 6 months ago for our 2yr old staff cross(possibly whippet). She has a very large neck and was able to slip her collar so a harness was the best solution. We tried a normal tape type but as she is short haired it was rubbing her sore only after an hour or so. This pack has very good padding on the chest and belly straps so she can now wear it for hours without any problems. The added benefit is that she now carrys her own popp scoop, popp bags, waterproof blanket, towel, water and treats with her everywhere and there is still more room for more. The quality of the stitching/materials is top notch and i would say it is excellent value for money. I have given it 4.5 stars as the padding on the chest strap keeps twisting and is fiddly to rotate back in place ( A stitch or two in the right place during manufacture could of cured this) and the clips are only plastic. They are good quality and up to the job of lifting our 27kg little girl but as an extreme sports instructor i would have prefered them to be the loop through metal type as found on climbing harnesses. Neither of these things should put you off this pack as it is deffinately the best on the market and both us and our dog love and recomend it!!”
