The Beacon clips onto all Ruff Wear wearable dog gear - collars, packs, apparel, life jackets, and harnesses.It is watertight to hold up under wet weather (although not waterproof for extended swimming) and lightweight. For additional safety, it also clips to runners, hikers, cyclists, kids, and equipment. Using 4 light-emitting diodes (LEDs) it creates a halo of high-visibility red light around your dog that is visible up to 800m (1/2 mile!) in clear conditions. The Beacon measures 38mm x 38mm x 30mm (1.5"x1.5"x1.2") and batteries are included (it uses 2 x CR2032, 3-volt, lithium coin cell batteries. Replacement batteries are available wherever watch batteries are sold). |
